Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, October 19, 2024. With this update, instructors using New Quizzes can now add extra time to an in-progress attempt. This enables instructors to accommodate students who may need additional time due to various circumstances, allowing the extra time to be applied during an active quiz session. Previously, instructors could only add extra time to a new attempt, not to one already in progress.
