Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration underwent scheduled maintenance on Friday, March 19, 2023. Previously, an official student was not provisioned a Bruin Learn Canvas user account until either (a) they were automatically enrolled in an academic course site on Bruin Learn once that site was published by the instructor, or (b) they proactively logged on to Bruin Learn for the first time, which just-in-time provisioned their account. This new SIS integration service provisions an entering student’s user account once they have submitted their SIR. With this change, academic and administrative unit support staff will be able to utilize the Bruin Learn platform to deliver content to entering students as soon as they have accepted admission at UCLA starting in May, after the SIR submission deadline.
