Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 20, 2024. With this update, a separate "Time" field has been added to the "Due" and "Availability" dates. A "Clear" function now allows users to clear these dates with one click. When instructors add "Assign To" settings to an assignment or discussion from within a Module, the note "Inherited From [module]" will appear. Instructors can also edit the "Assign To" settings directly from an Assignment or graded Discussion page without editing the entire activity. This change provides more space to view student and section names, preventing truncation, and includes the Clear function for easy re-entry of settings. Additionally, this update ensures a consistent design and user experience across other areas in a course site where the "Assign To" option is available, such as in Modules.
