Overleaf will undergo scheduled enhancement in Spring 2025 (TBD). With this update, UCLA now offers a campus-wide Overleaf license, eliminating the need for individual purchases by students and departments. Previously, students and departments had to buy separate Overleaf licenses. Now, with the campus-wide license, they can access Overleaf for free, reducing costs. Overleaf is an online tool for collaborative writing and publishing, designed to simplify the process of creating, editing, and publishing scientific documents. It features an intuitive LaTeX editor with real-time collaboration and automatically generates fully compiled outputs as users type.
