UCLA Media Reserves / BruinCast experienced an outage on Friday, September 27, 2024. When users attempted to play a video for Fall courses on BruinCast through UCLA Media Reserves, an error message appeared.

UCLA Media Reserves experienced an outage that started on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 4:00 PDT and was resolved on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 7:15 PDT. During this time, there was an interruption accessing BruinCast videos via UCLA Media Reserves.
Bruin Learn / UCLA Media Reserves LTI Integration underwent scheduled enhancement on Monday, December 18, 2023. Previously, only one playback timestamp would appear per multimedia stream, persistent across all users and devices. Now, each user will correctly be able to keep track of where they individually left off during playback, on a per-device basis.
UCLA Media Reserves will undergo scheduled maintenance in Fall 2023. With this change, each user will correctly be able to keep track of where they individually left off during playback, on a per-device basis.
Bruin Learn / UCLA Media Reserves LTI underwent scheduled maintenance on Sunday, June 4, 2023. As a result of this enhancement, academic unit support staff will be able to cross-list BruinCast recordings across multiple Bruin Learn course sites, making these recordings available to students where applicable.
On Thursday, March 23rd, the campus data center reported power issues that impacted IT Services. Services such as Bruin Learn Media Reserve, TA Sites Web App, Bruin Learn Course Manager, and SIS Integrations were impacted.
Bruin Learn / UCLA Media Reserves LTI underwent scheduled maintenance during the week of Monday, March 27, 2023. With the change, users with the “Observer” role will have the same read-only access to UCLA Media Reserves assets via the LTI as other course-level roles.
