Bruin Learn / Canvas underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, September 16, 2023. This update improves Instructor workflow and reduces the need to update page links manually.

EdTech Dashboard underwent scheduled enhancement on Friday, September 8, 2023. This update will improve the user experience by providing updated guidance on tool categorization, as well as TPRM (third-party risk management) status and availability of third-party tools.

Hypothesis and Canvas SpeedGrader experienced an outage on Thursday, August 24, 2023. The issue was resolved on the morning of Monday, August 28, 2023. Annotations made during this period will not display under your Canvas To Do list for your course and will not display in SpeedGrader unless the student has an annotation before or after Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 9am ET and Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11am ET.

Gradescope underwent scheduled maintenance on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 7:00 - 07:30 PDT. During this time, all features of Gradescope were not accessible.

Bruin Learn / Panopto LTI underwent scheduled enhancement on Monday, August 7, 2023. With this change, Panopto LTI 1.3 was installed at the Anderson School of Management sub-account level.

Enhanced Gradebook Filters will be introduced into Bruin Learn on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Instructors will notice a new button in the gradebook called “Apply Filters”, which allows them to create and manage filters for organizing your gradebook.

The Zoom integration with the Kaltura streaming media solution underwent scheduled maintenance on Monday, August 14, 2023 between 5:00 and 7:00 pm PDT. During this update, Zoom cloud recordings were not automatically copied to Kaltura.

MyUCLA underwent scheduled maintenance on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 11:59pm to 3:00am PDT. Many features, including Class Planner, were unavailable.

Gradescope underwent scheduled maintenance from Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 9:00am to Sunday, Aug 13, 2023 at 07:00pm PDT. During this time, all Gradescope features were not accessible.

Turnitin and Gradescope will undergo scheduled maintenance on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 7:00am to 3:00pm PDT. During this time, Turnitin and some Gradescope features will be unavailable.

Bruin Learn / Canvas released a new feature on Saturday, July 15, 2023. With this change, Admins can automatically subscribe users to an Account Calendar.

Bruin Learn/Canvas was unavailable during a brief maintenance event on Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 1:05am to 3:05am PDT. The interruption is only expected to last up to fifteen minutes during the event, but the full duration of the window may be utilized if needed.

Turnitin had an unexpected service incident on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Users may have been unable to access the service or experience a delay in Similarity Report generation in Turnitin Similarity, Turnitin Originality, and Simcheck.

Bruin Learn / Canvas SIS Integration will undergo scheduled maintenance on Sunday, September 17, 2023. There will be a back-end re-architecture and migration of existing SIS integration services from on-premise to AWS for the provisioning of Canvas Course sites and Sections in Bruin Learn.

UCLA Media Reserves will undergo scheduled maintenance in Fall 2023. With this change, each user will correctly be able to keep track of where they individually left off during playback, on a per-device basis.
